Last week I went to Rotterdam for the film festival and a night at the CitizenM Rotterdam hotel. Unfortunately it started raining just about an hour after I checked in at the hotel and it didn’t stop untill I left the hotel to go back home. So I took these pictures really quickly right in front of the hotel. Because I knew the weather wouldn’t be any good these days, I went for this super comfy outfit. Despite the fact that the weather completely sucked I had a really good time in Rotterdam. During the film festival I went to the movie ‘Keeper’, a drama about a talented 15-year-old goalkeeper who hears that his girlfriend is pregnant and wants to keep the baby at all costs. The movie was really good!
In two weeks Sjoerd and I are flying to Budapest. We fly from Eindhoven airport and will stay for three days in Boedapest. In Budapest I’ll make my first travel movie ever my very first travel movie! Sjoerd and I both never visited Budapest before so I did some research and came across these three must do’s.
Last week I went to Rotterdam for an stay in CitizenM and also for IFFR together with Sjoerd. After having walked around in the center and searching for cozy places and hotspots. Which are plenty in Rotterdam. We went to “Ouden Haven”. “Oude Haven` is one of my favorite spots in the city, this place has a history . The whole town was destroyed by German bombing on May 14 , 1940. But this small part of the “Oude Haven” stayed intact.
Bored of all those standard eateries? But you would like to fancy a coffee, surprising lunch dishes, accompanied by delicious drinks ? You only have one problem you have no idea where to lunch in Rotterdam . Then you’re at Memory Lane at thw right place! This awesome eaterie is located on the “Hoog straat”.
‘Onder de Leidingstraat at Strijp-S in Eindhoven can be found at the end of the ‘Leidingstraat’. It has become one of my favorite places to visit for lunch or a coffee break. Not only is there an option to lunch, they serve breakfast and hot meals as well. I love the fact that everything they serve is biological and fresh. Next to the counter is a mini bio shop, where you can buy groceries and gifts like cookery books for example. Also, I’m in love with the industrial interior of ‘Onder de Leidingstraat’!
Do you know the feeling when you have nothing to do on a day and just wander around in the nature enjoying the views? This was such a day. Walks on the moors, enjoy nature and discover new places. A few weeks ago I went shopping in Eindhoven and I tried these pants on. I never thought I would buy trousers with print, because I ‘m always afraid I’m at a donut in this kind of trousers. .
In my previous post I told you guys that I really wanted to take some outfit pictures in a snowy winterwonderland, and yes; just a few days later I got suprised by a thin layer of snow! So when I got a day off I quickly went into the woods to take some pictures. But it was oh so cold.. brr! I wore my glasses that day because both my eyes were itching and I couldn’t wear my contacts. But I quite like my glasses in combination with this outfit!
I love to have lunch with a cup of tea or coffee with friends. Hidden between Rokin and Nes you’ll find de Laatste Kruimel. De Laatste Kruimel Amsterdam isn’t a new place but I’ve never been here before. When I discovered this cozy place on the world wide web, I couldn’t wait to visit it when I was in Amsterdam. It is cute and cozy little place where they serve delicious sandwiches, cakes , scones and quiches.
In a few weeks Sjoerd and I are leaving The Netherlands and we are going to Budapest. I ‘m so urious about this Hungarian capital. Sjoerd has never been there and so I am. So I’ve been busy with the preparations for this trip. And a few weeks ago we visited London for a few days, so I would like to share some tips on how to plan a city trip. How do you plan a city trip?
When I took these pictures last week, the weather was still so nice! It started to snow a little bit last night. I was hoping everything had turned white when I woke up this morning, but no luck there. When I was in Vessem last week, we went for a walk in the woods. The scenery is just as nice as in Eersel, I think. It’s a shame my parents always have to pick me up in Eindhoven to visit them. There’s no public transport to Vessem!! I would really love to go there more often, sometimes you need a break from the city. Now, let’s hope it will start to snow here very soon, so I can take pictures in a winterwonderland hihi.
